The Heron Yacht shipyard has completed the new Heron 38. It’s an 11-metre boat with multiple customization options Thanks to a hull length of 9.99 metres, the boat is registration-free. In terms of engines, the first model is equipped with two Mercury Verado 350hp outboards. Her debut is scheduled to take place at NauticSud 2022, from February 12-20.
Heron 38
The new Heron 38 is an XL yacht, with an overall length of 11.65 metres. It was created for owners who want an agile and sporty boat, with space at the bow and stern to enjoy the sea. The choice of materials has made it possible to maintain an optimized overall weight, so as to increase range and reduce consumption. The standard version features a cabin with a double bed, separate head and integrated shower. In any case, the yard confirms its vocation to create units with maximum customization.

Heron 38 – Deck
The deck of the Heron 38 features a large bar cabinet with integrated fridge and folding top. The worktop with sink and induction hob completes this area. Also in this part of the boat is a storage locker for the raft that can be easily accessed.
Heron 38 – Bow
In the cockpit, the settees are set against each other with a central table and can be transformed into a large sundeck. The aft hatch conceals the covered space for stowing water toys. Special attention to the choice of materials can also be found in the T-top, which is made of carbon to reduce weight and therefore consumption.

Heron 38 – Interior
The standard version has a cabin with a double bed and a separate head with integrated shower. The optional version has two more small beds below deck in the steering area. The study of the furnishings has been modified in order to find practical solutions capable of making the most of the internal volume, thus creating that added value which is difficult to find on yachts of a similar size.
Heron 38 – Cabin
The focus of the project line is to build a 38′ with a type-approval length of less than 10 metres so that it can fall into the registration-free boat category. This is to reduce running costs while maintaining the space and safety features of a larger hull.
