The new Honda Marine division, established a few months ago, chose the Genoa 2024 Boat Show to present a prestigious new collaboration with two big names in boating: Ultraflex and Vetus.
This technological synergy aims to improve the boater experience by offering an innovative system that integrates Honda outboard engine control with thebow thruster and a joystick to simplify mooring maneuvers.

Honda Marine – How the integration between the three brands works

The new technology, which will be available from the 2025 season, allows boaters to be in full control of the vessel, making each phase of maneuvering smoother and safer, especially during mooring phases.
Thanks to the IntegraJStm Ultraflex joystick and system, which interfaces seamlessly with the Honda Marine outboard engine and Vetus Bowpro bow thrusters, the system offers a simplified boating experience, reducing stress during docking operations and making maneuvers smooth and controlled by making all components work in sync.

Honda, Vetus, Ultraflex Integration

In the diagram you can see above, the integration between the electronic steering system, outboard motor, and bow thruster is well represented.
Overall, the integration between the products of the three brands allows those on board the boat to manage the boat’s movements during mooring and unmooring with great precision (and in all simplicity) This partnership represents a significant step forward for all three brands, which plan to continue in the innovation furrow with further innovations, c0n the goal of ensuring more enjoyable, safer and worry-free sailing.
