Once one has found a boat suitable for one’s needs that has also “passed” the inspection stage, one is almost there and will need to address the purchase proposal. Advice? Helping you with your notes and budget considerations (we talked about this here) update your list with costs for any work that came up during the visit.
At this point, as there is often a minimum amount of room to negotiate on price, calculate the work the boat in question needs, deduct it from the sale price, and make your offer. To delve more deeply into the steps, and perhaps even the shapes, watch our video, where we explain in more detail.
