Hybrid solutions are not long in coming in 2019: after all the innovations at the Dusseldorf trade fair. For today a novelty that comes from Italy, from the Nauticsud in Naples. Here is the first gas-fuelled inflatable boat!

Coastal Boat, Suzuki Italia Marine and the dealer Ugo Lanzetta, administrator of NauticaMediterranea, present this rib with a pair of Suzuki of 300 horses.

The use of HEB, according to assessments by U.S. agencies, would save more than 50 percent of fuel and reduce pollutant emissions by 90 percent.

Hybrid boats, here is the gas rib

Coastal Boat, with the collaboration of Newtak as an engineering partner, presented the Coastal 10 equipped with a gas system already assembled. Starting in April, it will be possible to test this rib with hybrid engines: traditional and gas-powered. By installing a retrofit kit applicable to both new and after-market boats, it will be possible to manage with a switch the mode of use you prefer: petrol only, gas only or mixed gas/gasoline. The kit will be adaptable to most of the engines on the market today, including diesel. The use of HEB, according to assessments by U.S. agencies, would save more than 50% of fuel and reduce pollutant emissions by 90%.

Coastal 10 rada, Coastal’s first cabin cruiser

Coastal Boat will also present COASTAL 10 RADA, the first cabin boat produced by the shipyard, designed by Francesco Guida (Studio Guida Design), one of the most established international designers. The model combines elegance, design, stability, and quality of the interior. At Nauticsud 2019, Coastal Boat will have the support of the Azimut Group as a sponsor.
