Invictus 270 FX is the largest of the FX range from the Borgia (Catanzaro) shipyard of the same name. Like every other model with the Crusader shield, it is designed by Christian Grande. “It is not necessary to understand the work behind each boat, I am interested that those who board an Invictus perceive harmony and beauty” explains the golden man of quality made-in-Italy yachting. Fisherman not extreme, in fact far from it, it is also a comfortable daycruiser with plenty of usable space for those who do not want to fish. The bow returns with momentum, but it is played up in a way that still leaves plenty of usable surface area on deck, thanks to what the designer himself calls muscularity, a sort of “bulge” on the jaw that increases volume and creates a sort of spray rail that helps keep the deck dry, but does not disturb the eye.

Suzuki DF350: what an engine!

The engine that was the subject of our test is Suzuki DF350, which proved to be agile and powerful. The DF 350 is a 4.4-liter, 4-stroke V6, Suzuki’s largest. In rough seas, fuel consumption was low even at high speeds, thanks of course to the boat, but also to the generosity of the engine. Also on board the Invictus 270 FX was the handy Suzuki display for engine data.
