After a nearly 14-month stalemate, the membership life of ISYBA (Italian Ship & Yacht Brokers Association) restarts in full swing. Thanks to the willingness of old and new Members and the decisive contribution of Honorary Member Lawyer Andrea Petragnani Ciancarelli, the Association resumes this renewed phase of its journey with new and important objectives related to the practice of the profession of Maritime Mediator in relation to the update of the recent legislative framework introduced by the new Recreational Boating Code.

ISYBA, Italian Ship & Yacht Brokers Association

On Monday, November 11, the National Assembly was held at the Headquarters of the Italian Naval League for the reorganization of the Association through the election of the new Board of Directors, the Board of Arbitrators, and for the allocation of social offices with a President elected by the Board of Directors, elected in turn by the Members:

Board of Directors:
Maria Consolata Valerio (Given for Yachting)
Antonio Marzulli (M Yachts)
Marco Viganò (For Sailing)
Luca Bosazzi (Abayachting)
Massimo Malaspina (M2O Marine)
Fabrizio Landini (Landini YB)
Alessandro Guardigli (Mediaship International)
Andrea Dini (Seadreams Brokerage Network)

President: Massimo Malaspina
Vice President: Alessandro Guardigli
Vice President: Antonio Marzulli
Secretary General: Marco Viganò

The Association’s short-term goals are related to cooperation with institutions and other trade associations for the development of the boating industry, the revision of the entire ISYBA contract system with the aim of ensuring in sale-purchase contracts a consistently greater protection of the seller and buyer parties in an international context, standardizing procedures to foreign standards in order to improve the quality of services offered, the detailed analysis of problems related to the chartering and leasing of watercraft, boats and pleasure boats. Not the least of which is the goal of regularizing those who practice the profession illegally.

The Assembly, the Directors and the President are confident, on the strength of the professional figures present, of the contribution the association will make to the growth and development of the entire Italian nautical sector.
