An extreme cruising boat: 20 meters
Navigational or perhaps “flight” tests for the T-2000 Voyager, which showed its stuff as it entered the harbor in Cork, Ireland, during Storm Kathleen in April 2024. This is what is seen in the image above where the boat rises above a wave. The two bow hulls of the catamaran are noted. This model is designed to cope with all kinds of conditions and carry on cruising when everyone else stops.
Despite having up to 2,500 miles of range, this vehicle can touch amazing speeds with up to 50 knots. This is thanks to surface propellers, one per hull of course, driven by two MAN V12 engines of 1550 horsepower each.
