When it comes to powerboats, the United States of America is a reference point. The reason is clear; it is the largest market in the world. In this scenario, the group
Quick
, an international accessories giant based in Italy, has signed an agreement with the ABA, the American Boatbuilders Association. In fact, the ABA chose Quick USA as the “Supplier of Choice” for windlasses. The supply contract will start from July 1, 2024 until June 30, 2027.

Quick anchor windlasses for the ABA.

ABA is the umbrella organization for the 26 major independent U.S. shipyards, with 21 operating plants in 12 states. A giant with a production capacity of 34,000 boats per year. One figure out of all to understand: ABA-affiliated shipyards build about a quarter of all fiberglass boats over 16 feet built in America.

A great achievement, then, for the American branch of the Italian company. The strength, after all, is in the reliability of the products, which are marked by a low incidence of technical problems. But it is not only this: it also represents recognition for the constant commitment to research and development, as well as for the extensive and comprehensive after-sales service.

The ABA’s selection of Quick USA as ‘Supplier of Choice’ is another important step, not only for the Quick brand, but also for the growth of our Quick USA subsidiary,” enthused Marco Santoro, CEO of Quick USA. “The industry’s confidence in our products is based on our commitment to achieving excellence at every stage of the supply chain, from the careful design and engineering of our product lines to rigorous testing, from advanced manufacturing capabilities to accurate and timely after-sales and service. The breadth of our offerings and the capabilities we have to meet the demands of the recreational marine industry as a whole are second to none, and we look forward to working with U.S. shipyards in what is not only the largest market in the world, but also one of the most exciting and diverse.”.

The offer of Quick SPA

The investments made in recent years by Quick are evident. Acquisitions, expansion of offerings, international market expansion, and research in crucial areas. In this way Quick is a supplier capable of supplying everything from anchor windlasses to thrusters, not forgetting stabilizers (trim and gyroscopic), but also everything related to shipboard life such as boilers or anchoring systems. With this “firepower,” the U.S. division, which is based right in the United States of America, becomes crucial. With the acquisition of the Service Center in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, in January 2024, Quick can now operate strongly in the territory from equipment supply to full service offerings.
