Boating is one of the driving sectors of Italy’s GDP, and small-scale boating, in this case inflatable boats, is no exception: they are the third largest sector by export value in the Italian boating industry. According to the latest findings (source: ICOMIA) in 2018, Italy exported recreational inflatable boats with a total value of $58.2 million, 12.3 percent of the world market. Top 5 Italian export markets are France (60.9 percent), Spain (12.7 percent), Croatia (3.4 percent), the Netherlands (3.0 percent) and Australia (2.3 percent).
