There is a brand that powerboat enthusiasts are familiar with. It is called Itama, the pure Italian open. After the 42 RS, 62 RS and 75, the shipyard part of the Ferretti Group has Düsseldorf 2025 announced a new model: the Itama 54. This hull fills the gap on the 50-footer and is scheduled to be launched at the Cannes Yachting Festival 2025.

Not many elements have been revealed yet, but from the renderings we can already guess some of them. The first element that distinguishes this design on an aesthetic level is the large fenestration/band that runs across the sides from the bow almost to the extreme stern.
This feature helps to give greater momentum to the profile, giving a more modern look to the boat. Despite this novelty, however, all the cornerstones of this range, which still represents the pure Italian-style open at its best, have been kept intact.
Given the type of powerboat, let’s focus for a moment on the deck plan. There is a separation between the aft sundeck abutting the platform and the cockpit area proper, which itself appears divided in two. We have a dining area with a sofa, table, and galley to one side in the rear. Ahead under the windshield is a second sofa on the starboard side, facing the helm station, which is all to port. In the middle of the boat is the access below deck.
To go toward the foredeck, however, there is an opening on the starboard side of the windshield. From the renderings, then, it also appears that two sundecks have been placed on the large area in front. flush with the deck.
