Jeanneau Cap Camarat 12.5 WA, the flagship. Cap Camarat is an evocative name for Mediterranean boaters. In addition to being a gorgeous location on the Cote d’Azur, it is also synonymous with a range of very popular and appreciated motorboats of the French brand Jeanneau.

From 5 meters upwards, there are models for all tastes, all belonging to the family of “day cruisers”. Today, we will focus on the new flagship of the range, which winks at “top” motorboats: the Cap Camarat 12.5 WA. The hull is designed by Michael Peters, whose career is full of successful recreational and offshore projects.
Layout versatile
Lines, instead, are by Sarrazin Studio with one single goal: to raise the bar. 11.90 meters long and 3.58 meters wide, the V-hull allows you to reach a top speed of 50 knots. In line with the trends of the market, the boat is fitted with a 900HP outboard propulsion, with two 450HP or three 300HP engines. A little reminiscent of the traditional American center console design, the new flagship is, however, an authentic walk-around.
The aft cockpit can accommodate all the friends you want, there is room for an outdoor galley and the folding bulwark increases the walkable area of the boat. In the bow, instead, there is the console with three seats and a large enveloping windshield. An additional cockpit offers three comfortable chaises longues. Interiors are one of the main strengths of this boat, distinguished by a considerable amount of natural light entering from the side windows. Here, the guests can enjoy a large dinette with a galley on the left of the stairs leading below deck; a full-beam aft cabin with a king-size bed and separate shower box.
