How it’s made

A rib of this type is particularly suitable for families or friends who want to go out to sea even with the youngest on board. In this sense, the cockpit is a very safe area of the boat because of the high backrests that, in addition to making the seats more comfortable, create a protected and “enveloping” area. Always safely, the lockers are accessible without removing the cushions and the battery compartment is easily accessible with a side door. All this does not preclude the line of the rib that remains elegant.

To access the aft beach for bathing or boarding, in addition to the two folding passages on the sides of the cockpit, there is also a small “door” in the backrest. The cockpit also houses a small kitchen built into the rear of the wheelhouse seat.

In the middle, between the seats, there is the classic coffee table (also electrically operated, if you like) which becomes, by lowering it, the base for creating a large sunbathing area, similar to the one at the bow. Being a boat suitable for day trips, no cabin has been inserted, but under the console, “hidden” by a seat obtained in the structure, there is a toilet with shower.

The test

Tried in Genoa with a stretched north wind, about 15 knots, the dinghy proved to be very dry on board and stable even when sailing in throttle. Motorized up to 800 horsepower with two outboards of 400 hp, it is already fun in the basic configuration with the double 200 hp. The complete test soon on the paper number of Motor Boats.
