Kaloyan Radulov, CEO and co-founder of Omaya Yachts, Bulgaria’s new luxury yacht brand, has been named to the prestigious Forbes 30 Under 30 Bulgaria list, an award that celebrates young leaders capable of making a significant mark on their industries and communities. Located on the banks of the Danube River, the ELICA Yard, where Omaya yachts are born, is part of the ELICA Group, a family company with more than 30 years of experience in designing and manufacturing industrial equipment.

Innovation, sustainability and the future: the thinking of Kaloyan Radulov

In early 2024, the Radulov family, through the ELICA Group, launched Omaya Yachts, a brand dedicated to the production of luxury yachts. The centerpiece of the project is ELICA Yard, a 15,000 m² state-of-the-art shipyard located on the banks of the Danube in Silistra. It is here that the new OMAYA 50 luxury catamaran will see the light of day by the end of 2025, to be followed by the larger 62- and 80-foot versions.

A commitment, Radulov’s, that goes beyond just promoting economic development in his hometown of Silistra. Indeed, the young Bulgarian entrepreneur is involved as a mentor in the Teenovator entrepreneurship program, which teaches Bulgarian high school students how to develop and present business ideas to potential investors. In addition, through Future for Silistra, a nonprofit organization, Radulov has implemented several charitable projects that have had a significant impact on the local community. Radulov believes that such initiatives are key to creating a sustainable community where young people are motivated to stay or return after studying abroad. ”

Communities thrive when we nurture them. By investing in young people and building bridges between generations, we ensure progress for all ,” he stressed.
