lIn the motorboats market comes a breath of fresh air and new ideas from the heart of Sicily, every year the destination of thousands of yachtsmen from all over the world.
Lilybaeum Yachts is the shipyard founded by the two Sicilian entrepreneurs Vincenzo Marco Pecorella, 25 years old, and Giorgio Maggio, 24 years old, partner at 50%. They have modeled their careers so far to arrive at a structured project. Young yes, but with a lot of experience, so that their first model, Levanzo 25, is already under construction.

“The shipyard – says Vincenzo Pecorella – is a dream we have always had since we were children. We have studied and worked until now to create our own brand: our experiences are complementary because I am dedicated to the commercial side, while my partner Giorgio is the designer.”
The debut boat of Lilybaeum Yachts, with other projects already on the way, is the Levanzo 25 which is currently under construction.
“We wanted to combine – continues Vincenzo – the solidity and marine qualities of a fisherman’s bow with an elegant, cruising stern and deck. For the motorization, we have chosen the outboard, the engine of the moment”.
The Levanzo 25 combines the look of the American-style center console with the elegance of Mediterranean boats with a stern that resembles an Aquarama. Alessandro Chessa, from Akes Design, also collaborated with the creation of the boat for the hull lines. The hull lines are designed to have the outboards positioned aft of the stern platform, to have space to move without sacrificing outboard motorization, with a maximum power of 400 horsepower. The first model will be fitted with two engines of 150 hp each.

In fact, this is an elegant, pure, and classy dayboat. Nothing has been left to chance with clever use of handrails and space on the deck. At the bow the electro-hydraulic table that transforms the seat into a sundeck, at the stern a single large sundeck, where in the middle there is also a walkway. Under this aft sundeck, there is a large space (as there is no inboard engines). In the middle of the boat the console with wheelhouse and behind the seat refrigerator, kitchen, and (optional) an icemaker.
The shipyard’s goal is to provide the most complete boat with optional extras possible, already in the basic model. In fact, as standard, there will also be all the cork lining on the deck that you can see in the pictures.
The launch of the first model is scheduled for September and the price will be around 60.000-70.000 €, VAT excluded, already motorized.
For the future
Lilybaeum Yachts has a 30-foot model at an advanced design stage, inspired by the lines of the Levanzo 25, but with more space on board and an interior cabin.
