Livorno marina with 815 berths

Livorno strengthens its “yachting” soul with a new 815-berth marina. Work will begin in April 2024 under the direction of Azimut Benetti Group, which is a major player in the Livorno area starting with warehouses near the future marina, and the D-Marin Group, which in the Mediterranean manages some of the most important reception facilities for nautical tourism.

Azimut Benetti Group and D-Marin: “2 years for the new port”

Livorno is a city where you can breathe nautical in every corner, from the canals to the coast. The new project will bring as many as 815 total berths and new spaces, transforming the Livorno Marina into one of the most important in the Mediterranean. Work will begin in early April 2024 and be completed, by design in June 2026. About two years of work and a major investment of about 15 million euros.

What’s new at the Livorno Marina

What does the plan include? A renovation of the docks, the creation of social spaces and entertainment and leisure facilities. More than 220sq. m. of the site will be reserved for restaurants, 60sq. m. for bars, and 250sq. m. will be devoted to offices instead. Highlights include creating a healthy environment that is as sustainable as possible with natural elements such as trees and hedges instead of fences, solar panels to produce a significant portion of the energy, and rainwater recovery to irrigate green areas.

The goal, then, is to transform the Labronian marina into a reference point for the entire Mediterranean. Livorno’s tourist marina will be thought of as follows: the historic Medici port will be incorporated into a modern marina open to the city and boaters with modern facilities devoted as much as possible to sustainability. To ensure a high standard of services for the domestic and international market, choosing a partner like D-Marin is strategic.
