Global debut at the Cannes Yachting Festival for a new Maxi-rib signed Lomac. It is 12.5 meters long overall, offers two berths to extend outings and can see up to 1050 outboard horsepowerinstalled…it is called GranTurismo 12 and will expand the range of the same name dedicated to the right balance of design, comfort and performance.
In short, here comes a new day-cruiser dinghy, with the extra addition of a toilet and cabin, to extend one’s outings at will.

Lomac GranTurismo 12 – Preview

On display from September 10 to 15 in Cannes, Lomac’s new GranTurismo is a dinghy with all the cards: ample space dedicated to comfort, a clean and elegant design, remarkable quality and ample room for satisfying one’s needs, starting already with the motorization, available in at least 3 distinct outboard combinations, for powers ranging from 600 to 1000+ horsepower.
The addition of the double berth, combined with deck comfort, then makes it a versatile hull, suitable for both short trips and longer days at sea, almost like a weekender.
While waiting to see it live in France, meanwhile, here is a preview. LOMAC GRANTURISMO 12.0

Layout

Slender, a full 12.5 meters strong, the new Lomac GranTurismo 12 is a dinghy with clean lines, set around a deep center console protected by a hard top.
Here, amidships, there are two seats serving the wheelhouse, under which the refrigerator takes its place, and to the left of which is access to the below deck, host to the toilet and double berth.

The

interior of the new GranTurismoThe real beating heart of the new 12.5-meter, however, is the cockpit, the hub of life on board.
Here, a U-shaped sofa spans the entire beam and portion of the bulwarks, providing a forward-facing lounge on which a coffee table can also be installed.
Just behind, however, a pair of generously sized sundecks overlook the stern, where a swim platform carves out space between the lounge area and outboards.

Cockpit and sundeck

Forward of the console and its elongated deckhouse, necessary to provide volume to the below deck, is the second lounge area on board.
The entire forward triangle is in fact dedicated to a large sundeck, accompanied by a settee recessed into the deckhouse itself.
The walkways to this area are wide, protected, giving an almost walkaround feel to Lomac’s new GranTurismo.

Lomac GranTurismo 12 – Motorization

Coming to the propulsion front, with the new 12.0 Lomac offers more than one option when it comes to engines, strictly outboard.
The recommended power output, in fact, contemplates a 300-horsepower pair, for 600 total horsepower, but double 450-horsepower versions are actually also available, as well as a triple combination, consisting of 3 Yamaha 350-horsepower units each, for 1050 total horsepower.
