The success of walkarounds in the recreational powerboat market shows no signs of slowing down. Attractive lines and livability of the deck are at the center, and in this respect, in an ever-increasing range of offerings, there is a need to stand out. It is not just a matter of design or “onboard” solutions, but also deeper reasons, as in the case of Macan, which decided to use aluminum as a material. The reasons are varied, and aluminum, certainly, has some interesting advantages such as its ductility, strength and lightness.
Macan 32 Lounge – Exterior
The new Macan 32 Lounge is Macan Boats’ new 10-meter, all-aluminum walkaround. Thanks to its light weight and double-step hull, this model promises to exceed 45 knots with a pair of 300-horsepower engines. The line is precisely racy and gives a feeling of speed with a central windshield that enhances this vocation. The design of this hull seems to draw inspiration from both some cult models from the nautical and automotive worlds, particularly the world of sports cars.
Both fore and aft, the boat is devoted 100% to livability, but in an original way. How do you mean? The boat, even in terms of layout, is totally customizable, which allows furniture and upholstery to be combined in various solutions. In any case, aft there is typically a double lounging area with a sundeck behind and then a small table with seating around it. Up to 12 people can stay on deck thanks to the various living areas on board. In the bow area is a sundeck with another integrated lounge, while in the middle of the boat is the helm station.
Macan 32 Lounge – Interior
Additional comforts are also found on deck where there is an aft cabin, kitchenette-bar, sofa bed and toilet with shower. In total below deck it can accommodate up to 4 people for the night, two in the stern and two in the bow.
