Much more than just a Maestro 88 gozzo is the Apreamare Supergozzo, the new flagship of the Castellammare di Stabia shipyard: an elegant shuttle designed to travel the world.
We tested Apreamare‘s latest addition, a 27-meter (24 homologation) that reinterprets the idea of a shuttle, a long-range yacht, in a “gozzo” key. The project is the result of a collaboration between the shipyard, Marco Casali and Umberto Tagliavini and was titled intornio to the specific requests of a historic Apreamare owner who wanted a craft capable of great autonomy, but still and unmistakably a true gozzo.
Among its peculiarities are first of all the main-deck layout that is a large, uninterrupted, open space that opens onto the cockpit and reaches, seamlessly, up to the large helm station, and also the tall side windows that rise from the walkways to the ceilings, releasing a direct connection between the interior and the seascape.
Built in Fano, but finished outfitted in Castellamare di Stabia, Maestro 88 is available with two different engines, also MAN, 1,650 or 2,000 hp. We tested it with the most potent of the setups and found in between that, as soon as you get on board, it makes you want to cruise the Mediterranean.
In the VIDEO you will find speed, consumption and PRICE of Apreamare‘s new flagship.
