Italy is also entering the world of adventure yachts. The versatile boats that appeal so much to the new generation of owners will have their own all-Italian version. The brand, MarcoPolo Adventure Yachts, is preparing to land at Boot Düsseldorf 2026 with its first two models, promising to revolutionize the concept of sailing with a mix of robustness, Italian design and technological innovation.

Why stop at a simple sea outing when you can set off on an adventure? The name, after all, is an explicit reference to the famous Venetian explorer and writer.
MarcoPolo was born with a clear objective: to bring back the spirit of adventure and discovery at sea, without sacrificing the elegance and comfort that are the hallmarks of Made in Italy. Led by the experience of Rosario Alcaro, the new brand is preparing to present its first nautical jewels to the public at Boot Düsseldorf 2026.
The MP10 and MP12 models, measuring 10 and 12 meters respectively, are already at an advanced stage of construction and will make their official debut at the German boat show, scheduled for Jan. 17-25.
“I am excited about this new adventure,” says Rosario Alcaro, “We have combined my skills with those of industry experts and young talent, with the goal of innovating and revolutionizing the boating world.”
The design, curated by the Roberto Delfanti Design Lab, is inspired by a “military” style that evokes safety and ruggedness. “These are technical, highly organized boats, focused on comfort on board and with an attractive appearance,” explains Roberto Delfanti. Powerful outboard engines ensure high performance, while attention to detail and the choice of quality materials enhance the excellence of Italian design.
The hulls are designed to cope with any weather and sea conditions, making MarcoPolo models suitable for sailing all over the world, from the Mediterranean to Northern Europe, from the United States to lakes. For this reason, they will be available in different configurations, both open and cruiser.
The design started with an in-depth study of the hull, developed to ensure excellent performance and maneuverability. Habitability was designed to maximize interior comfort and external safety, achieving spacious and functional spaces.
The first two models, MP10 and MP12, will have reverse windshields. Great attention has also been paid to the choice of materials, with the use of state-of-the-art solutions, many of which have never been seen before in the marine industry.
