a new series of lighter and more capacious lithium-ion batteries designed specifically for installation and use in boats and vehicles such as RVs and caravans. The three new models from the Navico Group brand are MLI Ultra 12/3000, MLI Ultra 12/6000 and MLI Ultra 24/6000.

Mastervolt Batteries

The lithium-ion batteries presented by Mastervolt further improve the performance of previous models, which are already known for fast charging, high density, weight/size savings, and ease of installation. The new models have 15% greater capacity, 20% greater density, and 20% reduced weight. This allows battery packs to have a longer life cycle while improving the performance of the previous model.

Features

Capacity Voltage Power Weight Dimensions Price
MLI Ultra 12/3000 230 Ah 12 V 3000 Wh 25.4 kg 341 x 197 x 355 mm € 3.199
MLI Ultra 12/6000 460 Ah 12 V 6000 Wh 46.7 kg 622 x 197 x 355 mm € 5.645
MLI Ultra 24/6000 230 Ah 24 V 6000 Wh 46.7 kg 622 x 197 x 355 mm € 5.645

All new battery packs have two handles for easy carrying and can be recharged in about 60 minutes. The new lithium iron phosphate(LiFePO4) batteries have an expected service life that exceeds 3000 cycles and operate optimally up to 80% of their capacity, unlike lead-acid batteries that use only 50% of their rated power.

The system intelligently manages the charging and discharging cycle of the cells, balancing duration and adjusting energy levels to always operate safely and properly. The batteries can be configured in series and parallel and integrate with the electrical system through CZone, MasterBus and NMEA 2000 ports The new battery series will see the light of day within a new dedicated manufacturing facility.
