The teaser is there and it smacks of an official announcement. Of course, it still lacks a live engine and an exact date, but we should be there by now. We are talking about the new top-of-the-line Suzuki outboard, a model that will surpass the, indeed, 350-horsepower DF350 that is Suzuki’s current most powerful model.
Will it arrive in 2025? Perhaps. After all, this very year marks the 60th anniversary of Suzuki Marine. It was 1965, in fact, when the Japanese manufacturer’s first outboard was born. This celebration could serve as a showcase for an engine in which the Hamamatsu-based manufacturer has invested heavily in recent years.

The teaser was shown during the Miami Boat Show 2025. What better place, in fact, than the home of giant outboards and the boats that mount them most of all? It is the United States of America, in fact, that is leading the way in the upward race for these engines, and it is no coincidence that Seven Marine (before it closed) and now Mercury Marine have put 500-plus horsepower outboards on the market. The U.S., once the engine is unveiled, will be a key market for this engine. In 2018, it was the Miami Boat Show that had seen the debut of the 350-horsepower. The next boat show, however, where it had made a grand appearance was the Genoa Boat Show.
Is it possible that we will see something at the Genoa Boat Show 2025?
Here is the teaser:
