A boat with which to manage your business, “dribbling” the traffic that plagues big cities. The Turkish shipyard Mazu Yachts has designed a luxury boat for a shipowner who wants to move on the water from one business appointment to another. This is how the new Mazu 42 ST was born, a yacht designed to move between the European and Eastern parts of Istanbul, overcoming the traffic jams of cars.

At work at 47 knots

With style, luxury and a bit of cunning this owner has combined the useful with the enjoyable on a 12.20-meter yacht that comes from the mould of the 42 walk-around presented by Mazu in 2017, in Cannes. A design that resembles almost a military boat with sober lines and at the same time elegant. The hull is made with the technique of cold forging, which makes the hulls resistant and lightweight. This structure, combined with a pair of 435 hp inboards, Volvo Penta IPS600s, allows the Mazu 42 ST to navigate at over 47 knots maximum speed with a cruise at 32 knots. In this way there is no danger that the owner will arrive late to his appointments around the city.

The structure of the boat

The 42 ST has a completely enclosed deckhouse around the dashboard, surrounded by large windows. The tilted windscreen is one of the features that most distinguishes the design of this yacht from its predecessor. Like the Walk-Around, the 42 ST has high walls to ensure safety and manage all marine conditions. Large walkways on both sides of the deckhouse ensure that those on board can easily move from bow to stern. Inside there is no shortage of luxury details with handcrafted finishes and value.
