Mercury Verado 425
. It all starts with the engine block of the sophisticated 5.7-liter cubic capacity and 316 kg weight V10, so far increased to 350 and 400 hp of power.
This new version boasts a new electronic control unit, with mappings derived from those of the 400R, and an intake throttle body now increased to an 80 diameter. The result is not only 25 more horsepower, but also a lot more thrust at the top end, from 4,000/4,500 rpm and up. We tested Mercury’s Verado 425 aboard the new
