Jeanneau will debut no less than 3 new hulls at the Cannes Yachting Festival 2024 (Sept. 10-15).
One is an SUV of the seas, the Merry Fisher 895 Sport, Series 2. Designed to wink at adventure and exploration, the new 8.8-meter will be a versatile hull, with several configurations obtainable on deck and four berths below deck.
A total, then, of four or five berths.
From outdoor cooking surfaces to lounge areas, you can find a valuable ally for short cruises aboard this cabin cruiser.

Merry Fisher 895 Sport (Series 2)

Aesthetically, this boat looks like a cabin cruiser with a central salon ideal for those looking for a “base camp” for their adventures at sea.
Propelling it are two outboard engines, totaling 500 horsepower.
Its structure enhances volumes and thus livability even inside, a crucial element when you want to go to sea in both summer and winter.

Merry Fisher 895 Sport (S2) – Deck

Let’s start with an interesting detail, which well underscores the intention to maximize every space: the decked deck is asymmetrical with passages exclusively on the starboard side. Why? Simple, make the most of every inch.
By moving all the encumbrances to the left, there is a significant gain in walkable volume even if it does limit accessibility to that side somewhat, for example when mooring.

Well

In the bow is a large forward lounge with a U-shaped sofa that can be converted into a sundeck and a cockpit complete with an outdoor kitchen and L-shaped sofas at the side, which can be supplemented with a center table.

Bow Lounge

The central superstructure has a stowage area on the roof, providing sheltered space for both sailing and social life, with a second galley, wheelhouse and a dining area that can be converted into a berth.
It is here that you get the fifth berth in addition to the four already present below deck.

Salon

Interior

A, the new Merry Fisher 895 Sport (S2) also provides interiors for short cruises.
In addition to a separate bathroom, the bow houses a first double berth, well lit by a skylight located in the deckhouse.
In the stern, on the other hand, under the salon, two more berths, less easily accessed, given the more limited heights, but also possibly useful as storage.

Motorization

Concluding the package is the outboard motoring.
In the standard version, the new 895 Sport (S2) includes a pair of engines of 200 horsepower each, optionally replaceable, however, with two 250-horsepower outboards, for 500 total horsepower.
Also on board are a pair of 300-liter tanks, for 600 liters total on board.
