The cockpit opens and reaches up to the platform. A solution to gain deck space on a vessel that, then, can also benefit from the platform area. It only takes a little, then, to make it into a sundeck(photo below) and turning the stern into a sort of beach area. Here is one of the features of the Mimì Libeccio 9.5 Cabin, the new sub-10-meter gozzo that is also a hybrid.
Mimì Libeccio 9.5 Cabin
For some time Gozzi Mimi has undertaken a profound process of renewal of its gozzi. In collaboration with designer Valerio Rivellini, work has been done to make these boats suitable for a younger audience as well. This latest addition is designed with a large sundeck at the stern that comes close to the deck and thus allows for maximum space utilization with a semi-open cockpit that also becomes a dining area.
Enveloped by the central superstructure is the command bridge with a galley behind it equipped with a double refrigerator, sink, and stove. which is sheltered both in front with a windshield and above with a hard roof.
In the bow is the classic sundeck that from the deckhouse covers the entire deck with the possibility of also having some sort of seating. Below deck the cabin is designed to have a king-size double bed and a sofa bed. The bathroom has a shower.
The goiter also hybrid
Traditional boats becoming hybrids? We had seen this with the Sciallino 23 Hybrid and now Mimi is also opening up to this type of solution. Basically, the motorization is given to two 195-horsepower engines for a maximum of 28 knots or a single 320-horsepower engine, but alternatively a hybrid can be installed to have a range of between two and five hours at a speed of 7 knots.
