Mr. Blu is the new Italian dealer for MJM Yachts. This is an American shipyard that builds its boats in the downeaster style. There are strong references to the tradition of the American East Coast, which is a reference point for this kind of elegant and at the same time very marine hulls. It is no coincidence that the yard is located in Washington, North Carolina.

What shipyard is MJM Yachts

Inside the more than 9,000-square-meter facility, a team of about two hundred craftsmen and specialized technicians build yachts following rigorous processes. In recent years, the shipyard has undertaken a profound industrial transformation by adopting Lean Six Sigma methodologies, an approach that has made it possible to optimize construction time without affecting final quality.

MJM, the boats for feeling at home

Downeast boats are designed and built to withstand the rough waves of the North Atlantic Ocean and thus offer exceptional performance in the seas where they are normally sailed. The enclosed wheelhouse is an important plus for those who want to use the boat in every season and perhaps leave for longer cruises. Plus this kind of boat built by yards like MJM can count on beautiful wood paneling, large windows, good ventilation for fresh air, and spacious and comfortable cabins.

Boats for all conditions

This shipyard’s fleet consists of versatile, high-performance platforms, including the MJM 38 range in its R, RS and X declinations. These boats are able to adapt naturally to different types of use, from sporty day cruising to medium-range cruising, always guaranteeing maximum safety at sea. At the top of the production we find the flagship MJM 47X, a crossover with elegant proportions and extended range. Designed for long cruising, the 47X is available with both advanced diesel propulsion and powerful outboard engines of the latest generation, representing the ideal solution for those seeking offshore cruising without compromising on comfort and stability.

What’s new for 2026

On the occasion of the launch of Model Year 2026, MJM Yachts has introduced a targeted evolution of its offerings, focusing on greater customization and a decided stylistic upgrade. The new range is distinguished by the adoption of clearer naming criteria and the use of premium materials such as Ultraleather upholstery and Whisper Wall finishes. Notable aesthetic innovations include the standard white wheelhouse and extensive use of teak, elements that together with the new Coastal, Tuscany and Mallorca color palettes define an understated and contemporary aesthetic. These stylistic choices aim to create a timeless nautical environment, where design sophistication is combined with the everyday practicality demanded by the most demanding owners.
