It is a miracle that someone did not die, but this video is an emblematic example of how reckless and irresponsible conduct can end in drama. Never sail at high speed below the coast with autopilot on, the consequences, due to distraction or possible technical failure, can be dramatic.

The unfortunate sport fishermen featured in this unfortunate video were plunged into a speedboat that, judging from the footage, was sailing at least 20 knots of speed. Their small boat was destroyed, and they barely made it in time to dive into the water to avoid being killed in the collision.
