Riva 68′ Diable | 20.67 m

In 2021 Riva Yacht celebrates the birth of the largest Riva ever built in Sarnico. It is called 68′ Diable and is a twenty-footer that was created as a modern reinterpretation of the historic Riva Diable, itself based on the Riva Super America. The design of the new Riva 68′ Diable goes to consolidate Riva in the under 70-foot segment with a motor boat that is sporty and fast, but also focuses heavily on on-board habitability. The project was born, like all Riva production in the last 27 years, from the pencil of Mauro Micheli, founder with Sergio Beretta of Officina Italiana Design, in collaboration with the Strategic Product Committee chaired by Eng. Ferrari and the Engineering Management of Ferretti Group.

On the 60-footer, the Piacenza-based shipyard aims to bring a breath of fresh air. How? With the new Absolute 60 FLY bringing aboard new construction aspects for a boat of this size. An example? The creation of what the shipyard calls “a real shipowner’s quarter” at the bow and a cockpit at the stern free of structural elements. Maximum livability then both below deck and outside, particularly on the flybridge, which is proposed as a second open-air salon with kitchen, dining and lounging area, and steering console. The motorization consists of two Volvo Penta D11 IPS950 engines.

Cranchi A46 Luxury Tender | 14.25 m

The A46 Luxury Tender is one of the most interesting walkarounds of 2021. It’s a multifaceted 14-meter that relies on a well-made hull (Aldo Cranchi design), a deck plan conceived by those who know intimately the needs of sea-goers (Cranchi Study and Research Center), and then attention to aesthetics and details. For this aspect, artistic direction has once again been entrusted to Christian Grande. The result is a boat with sharp, clean horizontal lines, without excess, but with a strong, muscular character. Now let’s get on board together and see what it looks like. “With this model,” explains Paola Cranchi, “we continue the path we started a few years ago. For our boats we no longer want only the best from the point of view of performance and sea keeping, but also a plus in terms of aesthetic care and design. In this we can definitely see the hand of Christian Grande who is unifying in the art director role this vision.”

Swan Shadow | 13 m

The Scarlino Marina held the christening of the first motor unit ever produced by the Finnish shipyard (see Leonardo Ferragamo interview, Boats to Motor No. 18 April-May). The event was celebrated at the Swan Tuscany Challenge event that brought together in Tuscan waters at the end of May an impressive fleet of Swan hulls engaged in tight races. Better platform could not have been available since the Swan shadow’s intended uses include a tender or chase boat for maxiyachts under sail. This 13-meter that stands out for its elegant lines is expected at the upcoming September shows where, we can bet, it will be among the absolute stars.

SESSA MARINE Key Largo 34 restyling | 11.10 m

Sessa’s unmistakable style is enriched with a revamped model with an eye-catching design, a younger sibling of the Key Largo 40 launched last year at the Genoa Boat Show. In the stern area we now find the much appreciated and now popular platform that makes this area livable even with two powerful outboards installed. On deck, however, it is the new T-Top that gives the boat a grittier, sportier look.

Sealine S335 – S335v | 10.31 m

The Sealine brand, part of the Hanse Group, has launched two new boats designed specifically for the Mediterranean in summer. They are the Sealine S335 (pictured) and the Sealine S335v, with outboards. These two units both feature an open cockpit concept with a sunroof. This allows for an open boat feeling, with maximum light and air, but also an enclosed and therefore protected boat. The main difference between these two models, as anticipated, is the propulsion system: the S335 is equipped with sterndrive, while the S335v has two outboards.

X-Power 33 C – X-Yachts | 10.2 m

So the new 10-meter X-Yachts is preparing to make its official debut at Cannes 2021. X-Yachts’ first powerboat is a 33-foot open designed for day cruising. The shipyard’s focuses in this model were speed and safety, in navigation, combined with a livable deck.

Van Dutch 32 | 9.81 m

The lines are still those that have characterized the brand since its debut, yet the VanDutch 32 continues to impress. Plus today the brand is in the portfolio of Cantiere del Pardo and the boats are built in Italy. The 32 is the new entry-level in the range, but with first-class features. A concentrate of style in 9 meters that does not wink at any trend except what is written in its DNA. The VanDutch 32’s motorization reflects the brand’s “custom” approach with a choice of four different engines, all Volvo Penta. It starts with a 480 CE gasoline V8 with precisely 480 horsepower and can go up to 600 horsepower from two D4-300/DPI diesels. He is also scheduled to attend the Genoa Boat Show.

Invictus TT280S | 8.87 m

It is one of the most successful models in Invictus’ history, but now it is ready to take it a step further. In Genoa (September 16-21, 2021) the Invictus TT280S outboard version will make its debut. The goal? A configuration intended to appeal to a more sporty clientele, but without sacrificing the elegance and customization possibilities that are Invictus’ own. One example is the many options the shipyard offers in terms of hull color solutions. At 8.87 meters long and 2.94 meters wide, the new Invictus TT280S was also born from the pen of Christian Grande and features an engine given by two 250-horsepower outboards for a total output of 500 horsepower.

Jeanneau pushes on the accelerator for 2022 and prepares a series of new features starting with the revamped Cap Camarat 7.5 series in both center console and walkaround versions, which with this redesign comes to Series 3. The Cap Camarat line thus continues its growth and updating to meet the many uses that are required of this type of boat today. Meanwhile, the shipyard is also working on developing a new line of luxury daycruisers. An important necessity in an increasingly demanding market in which the owner is documented, up-to-date and always on the lookout for top-of-the-line novelties. Not much is known about this new range yet, except that it will be unveiled at the Cannes Boat Show in September 2022. Last but not least, the new Merry Fisher 795 Série2 sport version is also coming as a 2022 novelty.
