Who said you need lots of horsepower to have incredible performance? Today we are breaking away from our beloved “Mediterranean” for a day and discovering a few powerboats from the northern seas. At the Helsinki Boat Show there is no shortage of surprises, and among them is definitely the Nitra 22 Super Sport, a boat with 300 horsepower and…70 knots of top speed.
Approved to carry up to four passengers, it is clearly a boat designed for extreme performance although it is not the fastest model in the Nitra range. Hull and deck are seamless with polyurethane rubrails. The accelerator is both foot pedal and hand throttle. The tank is 115 liters, while the ballast (ballast tank) has 200 liters capacity. With 300 horsepower aft (outboard) this boat is capable of developing up to 70 knots of top speed.
Among the various options in addition to the standard model that can be installed, foils could not be missed.
