Not only “gozzi” for the Neapolitan shipyard Apreamare, but also much larger units.
Here is the Maestro 88, a very ambitious project made for an Italian owner who was already the owner of other Apremare boats.
It is a totally custom shuttle built with a semi-planing hull that once again saw the collaboration of Umberto Tagliavini and architect Marco Casali.
Apremare Maestro 88
A shuttle, this is the largest yacht ever made by Apreamare, and it is named Maestro 88.
A line, this one, that certainly does not represent a novelty for the shipyard.
On the contrary, on this model the Sorrento shipyard wanted to maintain all the family-feeling of the previous Maestro line, introducing, however, stylistic and functional innovations.
Looking at the numbers, this hull has practically all the makings of a superyacht.
She is 27.10 meters long and 7 meters wide with a draft of 1.80 meters and a full load displacement of 90 tons, is powered by two 1,650-horsepower MAN engines, can reach a top speed of 22 knots with a range of 1,000 nautical miles at a speed of 10 knots.
The owner of this first unit opted for more powerful 2,000-horsepower engines.
We are dealing with a unit that in fact was born for long sailing, and this is demonstrated not only by its qualities in terms of range, but also by how it is designed.
The exterior lines are designed to bring light into the interior and create bright, livable spaces in all conditions.
Outside there is then a large beach club and a long sliding glass window on the deck to further connect interior and exterior.
To further increase the usable area, there are lounging areas on the flybridge, a galley with wet-bar, and solar panels for cruising comfort.
Interiors are customizable, with configurations including up to four cabins and ample space for recreation, for a quality of life on board, even and especially during long-range cruises. For information and quotes, click here
