Small, easy, fun: the new Nuva M8 Cabin is a perfect vessel for enjoying the sea in the simplest of ways, thanks in part to a decidedly attractive price. Watch our video here!

No stress, from every point of view. This is the watchword for telling the Nuva M8, now also in Cabin version. Already its predecessor, the Open, had amazed with the extreme functionality of its every detail, and now the new deck layout transforms what was a pure day-cruiser into an intriguing little weekender.

The design of the water lines remains, and they prove to be fun and reliable: on a rather rough sea day, with a 175-hp Mercury Verado at the stern, we exceeded 32 knots, cruising at about 24.

Numbers aside, the Nuva M8 Cabin, at the helm, is extremely brilliant: in the face of beautiful static stability (the first edge, flush with the waterline is very pronounced contien a lot of roll) the deep V even mid-boat gives nice creases but always in control, never nervous.

A separate chapter, we address it well in the video, concern the prices: definitely “mouthwatering” the entry price 89,000 euros plus VAT, especially considering that it includes all the main equipment, excluding only the opening side terrace, and the canvas and aluminum T-Top.

The Spanish shipyard is undergoing a period of major expansion; the historic Castelldefels site, a few miles west of Barcelona, has given way to a new and much larger facility inland from the Catalan city.

The new 14-meter flagship

The new flagship Nuva M14

A move motivated not only to meet increased production in terms of numbers (the plant is designed to make up to one hundred units per year) but also to enable production of the new flagship, the Nuva M14. At 13.99 meters long by 3.99 in beam, it will be a walkaround with aggressive lines, powered both inboard and outboard for a total maximum power output of 1,200 hp
