NX Boats
two debut-ready models arrive in Genoa: the weekender NX340 Sport and the day cruiser NX270 Challenger, measuring 10 and 8 meters respectively.
There are a total of ten models, and production is very solid: 400 boats a year at a 30,000-square-meter production site. It has already sold more than 1,500 units since 2014, and now it is landing in Europe after also quickly establishing roots in the U.S. where, in Miami, it has its most important foreign branch.
NX 340 Sport is 10 meters long and focuses on being a family boat suitable even for short cruises. Below deck are two cabins and a bathroom with a separate shower stall. The strength of the design is its generous heights, capable of providing freedom and ease of movement below deck, making the environment more airy and pleasant to live in. But the asymmetrical design of the deck layout also enters among the pros, aimed at maximizing outdoor spaces, moreover complete with an aft beach area, ample convivial space in the cockpit and sundeck for three in the bow. At the propulsion level, a diesel or gasoline EFB or outboard engine is available.
Shifting the focus to the other model, the NX 270 Challenger, one is instead confronted with a day cruiser that, despite its 8 meters, is capable of conceding space even for use as a weekender. In fact, thanks to a large cabin with a separate bathroom, it is able to extend outings into the night, but without sacrificing its look or the comfort of exterior volumes. The deck then features a stern bridge with an open-air galley and grill, as well as a convivial cockpit and an ever-present forward sundeck. Both models are available as outboard and inboard, gasoline or diesel.
