The most popular boats in the Mediterranean, our sea, are the Med Boats. In the production of these modern day cruisers, Italy is a point of reference in the world and since January Nerea Yacht has also opened up to these boats. The NY24, the first day cruiser built by the shipyard, will be presented in Dusseldorf.

How will Nerea Yacht’s first day cruiser look?

The idea is that of a small open yacht, 100% made in Italy. The project was designed by the two Ligurian designers Alessio Battistini and Davide Bernardini from the design studio IdeaeITALIA. A Med Boat, as we call it, because it has large and livable spaces that allow you to live 100% of the sea. A boat that is also able to entertain with interesting performance and that, despite its small size, does not leave indifferent those who find themselves admiring the lines.

NY 24 is a day cruiser with a length of 7.35 metres and, just like most Med Boats, it can be used both for short cruises as a pure day cruiser and as a tender for mega yachts.

Discovering Nerea Yacht

Nerea Yacht is a recently established Italian entrepreneurial reality, but it does not lack the technical know-how, given by Dario Messina, for about twenty years in the shipbuilding sector. The “base” of the shipyard is on the Adriatic Coast, near Fano and in a region known worldwide for the quality of its nautical supply chain, from shipyards to the workers who work there, Nerea Yacht wants to be a “boutique of boats”, a sea workshop where each new boat becomes a unique piece.
