Revolution Marine Group, a leading yacht brokerage and consulting service representing, among others, Oceanwalker Yachts, presents S60e, a 60-foot solar-electric luxury catamaran that combines sophisticated design with sustainable technology.

Oceanwalker S60e

S60e is 18.3 meters long and 8.3 meters wide. The exterior lines are simple and elegant, defined by contrasting windows along the hull and in the salon. The large flybridge is almost entirely unobstructed, proving perfect for holding parties on the sea. The hydraulic swim platform extends to create an overwater beach club or act as a tenderlift.

Interiors

What is surprising, however, are the interiors, which are truly refined and modern. The floating design of the furniture, minimalist and ergonomic, is emphasized by the LED lighting. The salon is very spacious, and here again we appreciate an extremely usable layout between the salon, dining area and kitchen, great for conviviality.

Below deck, two layouts are available: 4 en-suite cabins (2 per hull), or, the port hull can be reserved for the owner’s suite. Also of interest is the option for a day bath for common use on the upper deck, an often overlooked option.

The news: 100% electric

The “e” in S60e really stands for the full electric version of the Oceanwalker S60, powered by a pair of electric motors of 150 kW each. The accumulators are modern lithium phosphate batteries, which are helped to manage autonomy by a 10 kW photovoltaic system, to spend long periods at anchor even with moderate use of air conditioning. If that still is not enough, and to dispel the specter of “being stranded,” the S60e is still equipped with two 45 kW diesel generators, which provide a cruising range, at 7-8 knots, of up to 800 miles. The maximum speed attainable is up to 12 knots.

S60e is currently under construction at the Fujian Sky Walker shipyard in Zhangzhou, China, but production is overseen directly by Revolution Marine Group engineers to ensure to ensure the highest quality standards. The first Oceanwalker S60e is scheduled for delivery in April 2026.
