Onda 331 GT is ready to debut at the next Cannes Yachting Festival (10-15 September). A 10-metre tender with a modular and totally full-custom design, in line with what the current market requires. Onda 331 Gran Turismo
The design of Onda combines engineering expertise with the navigability of cutting-edge composite hulls. What does this mean? That the practical solutions to live on board in comfort are combined with a fast boat, as demonstrated by the racing lines.
The request of the “superyacht lords” is specializing more and more also on an aspect that might seem “negligible” like the tender. The 331GT was born from the collaboration with the Greek manufacturer Onda and the studio Mannerfelt Design.
For navigation there are several factors at play: the deep V hull, very light, combined with the meticulous search for “light” engines allow the 331 GT to reach high speeds more easily, also reducing fuel consumption. Two 250 hp outboards are all it takes to reach 60 knots of speed.
A boat designed to live in close contact with the sea
Together with Ted Mannerfelt’s background in automotive design, and the company’s experience in the world of professional sailing, Mannerfelt Design combines speed and elegance with practical features. On paper the interior width is 3.25 m with high walls, but the modular design of the 331 GT makes it fully customizable. At the stern of the boat the U-shaped seats of the dining area can be transformed into a relaxation area with a coffee table, or it can disappear completely to have more space on deck. The boat is available in both inboard and outboard versions, as well as a wide range of deck, hull, pipe and upholstery options. Being a fully customizable superyacht tender, many aesthetic elements and colors can be adapted to the mother superyacht.
