Oris

by Sea Time

Oris presented its first waterproof watch in 1965. Since then the sea started to become a significant feature of the maison’s collection, that today takes action effective action to save the marine environment.

Oris is, in fact, committed to supporting various projects related to the protection of the oceans.

The River Rhine played a key role in the Source of Life project in 2018. Now it’s the turn of the oceans. With the Clean Ocean Limited Edition Oris is supporting the Pacific Garbage Screening initiative, the body founded by Marcella Hansch to recover plastic waste from rivers and estuaries before it goes to sea. For this watch we have used recycled plastic in the form of the logo which has been applied to the caseback.

Clean Ocean is part of the Oris Ocean Trilogy collection. Three watches in a limited series that are designed to support three different initiatives.

With the Great Barrier Limited Edition III, Oris supports the Reef Restoration Foundation, while the Blue Whale Limited Edition helps Whale and Dolphin Conservation.
