A classy boat, with the inimitable lines of Palm Beach Motor Yachts, has just been unveiled to the general public. At the Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show the Palm Beach 70, the new flagship of the Malaysian shipyard, made its debut. After the Palm Beach GT 50 (click here), here is another boat with all the features to please the true gentlemen.
The design and the marine blue color make it immediately recognizable. In fact, this boat represents an “enlarged” version, born from the request of a shipowner, younger sisters and maintains its qualities: designed for long cruises, reliable in navigation and solidity in the construction of the hull. It is not only a comfortable boat, suitable to live the moments with its guests on board, but it is also able to entertain despite its size: with the Volvo Penta IPS engine this yacht reaches 38 knots of maximum speed. Not bad for a 22-metre cruiser. The secret is in the hull, semi-displacement deformed, so that the bow slips into the water rather than trying to “climb over it”. In this sense, the glide is almost imperceptible, but the results in terms of performance and fuel consumption are excellent.
One of the points to enjoy the boat better is the fly bridge, which offers plenty of space to be comfortable with both family and friends. And even in navigation, weather permitting, this area is one of the most enjoyable. The entire superstructure is made of infused carbon fiber that also helps to lower the center of gravity making the boat more stable.
The interiors are no less, in terms of yachts for gentlemen. It starts with a large hall that houses the wheelhouse and the kitchen in front. Here you will find two L-shaped sofas, a dining table and large windows. The gem, also shared by the cabins, is the golden-brown teak, which makes the environment refined and at the same time welcoming.  The owner’s cabin is in the middle of the boat and is located on the port side with large retractable doors that open onto the passageways. The VIP cabin is at the bow. Aft is the guest cabin with a double bed.
