Created and designed to create the best relationship between boat and environment for those on board, the Palm Beach GT50 Open will be held in Europe at the Cannes Yachting Festival, from 10 to 15 September.

Just to give you a few figures, this open of 16.4 metres is capable of exceeding 40 knots, with an economic cruising speed of 35 knots thanks to work on the hull and propulsion of the shipyard’s GT series.

Low power consumption, top speed!

GT50 Open, unlike the closed model Express, will allow those who sail to enjoy more of the relationship with the sea on days of cruise. But that’s not all. This 50 footer uses only 151 litres now between the two engines at a cruising speed of 35 knots. What about the top speed? More than 40 knots, thanks to the lightness of the hull made of glass e-glass with a core of vinylester resin fully infused, completed by a deck and superstructure of carbon fiber fully infused to 100%. The bulkheads and deck are structurally linked to the hull for greater strength and rigidity, forming a semi-monocoque shell that translates into greater strength.

If you can see this yacht live at the Cannes Yachting Festival, the GT60 is set to make its debut in September 2019. A boat of superior size and power, with a top speed at about 50 knots, followed by another model: the GT70, now in the design phase.
