We saw the Pardo 38 in preview at Porto Piccolo, but it was in Cannes, during the Yachting Festival, that the walkaround made its official debut in front of the audience. This is the third model produced by Pardo Yachts that reaches completing downwards the range that also includes the 43 and 50, presented respectively in 2017 and 2018. Two very successful models that led to the arrival of the recent 38 already sold in 15 units even before the official presentation. It confirms the appeal that this type of boat has had towards owners and, above all, the interpretation given by Pardo Yachts, the brand that builds motor boats within the group that also includes the Cantiere del Pardo and its sailing boats.

Designed by Zuccheri Yacht Design like the two previous models, the Pardo 38 is available in two versions with regard to the choice of engines. A pair of Volvo Penta 280hp gasoline inboard is standard, while on specific request of the owner it is possible to mount two Volvo Penta D4 diesel 300hp or D6 380 or 440hp.  You can also choose outboard engines choosing between two or three Mercury 300 or 350 hp or outboard reaching up to a total power of 1050 hp, at least according to the statements of the shipyard, resulting in 50 knots of maximum speed. On request is also provided for control via joystick

On deck the Pardo 38 replicates the general setting seen on the other Pardo walkarounds with all the tread developed on a single plane, supplied in series in natural teak, but wanting to be replaced with a synthetic material, and protected from the high bulwark. The colours and fabrics of the cushions on board can also be customised, as is typical of the models presented by Pardo Yachts.

The exterior of the Pardo 38

The profile of this 12-metre boat is characterized by the T-Top fixed carbon fibre which protects from the helm to the dining area for six people and with the possibility of extending the cover towards the stern with a bimini integrated in the superstructure and electrically activated. Aft. Sunbathing area comfortable for three people, and aft, two opposing seats and a folding table. Also in this end also the outdoor kitchen.

Pleasant stylistic choices and design, with the console embellished with carbon inserts and the windscreen without supports that ensures a perfect view in navigation thanks to the lines of the freeboard that are lowered towards the stern.
The anchor system is also equipped with a camera visible on the chartplotter in the console to make the manoeuvres as simple and safe as possible.
