It is the most anticipated new feature: the outboard option of the Pardo 43. It is not an adaptation, but a dedicated design for the new type of motorization; in fact, Pardo Yachts has developed a dedicated hull, engineered to handle different power and dynamics than the traditional Volvo Penta IPS propulsion. The result is a “supercar of the sea.” At the stern, the 43 R can accommodate up to three 600-hp Mercury V12 engines, a brutal configuration that catapults it to over 50 knots of top speed. The specific hull and inverted bow ensure that this power is handled with stability and comfort, providing an intuitive and safe experience at sea designed for thrill-seekers without sacrificing class.

Exterior design: the freedom of the walkaround

On the outside, the Pardo Yachts DNA is intact and enhanced. The walkaround configuration conceived by Zuccheri Yacht Design is seamless, allowing movement from stern to bow with total fluidity and safety, thanks in part to integrated handrails and large non-slip surfaces. In the stern, the absence of inboard engines frees up space, but even with outboards, livability remains ample. The convivial area offers ergonomic sofas and an extendable table that folds down to create a second sun deck. Forward, however, a refined lounge with a sea-facing bench and a large sundeck welcome guests. The brand’s signature carbon T-Top remains unchanged and blends seamlessly with the windshield, while an optional electric bimini can extend shade aft.

Interior by Nauta Design: light and volume

Below deck, the leap in quality is evident. Thanks to a collaboration with Nauta Design studio, the interior has been redesigned to offer a higher level of customization. The brand new hull windows are the cornerstone of the new design, as they flood the rooms with natural light, eliminating the feeling of claustrophobia and accentuating the dialogue with the marine element. The layout is flexible and a “cruising” version can be preferred, with bow dinette can be configured with a fixed double bed or a “daily” version, with a convertible area (table/bed) to alternate conviviality and rest. A second cabin with two single beds is provided. The large bathroom is one and incorporates a shower stall with seat. The adoption of outboards has the inherent advantage of freeing up technical volumes, which are converted back into valuable storage space, making the Pardo 43 R perfect not only as a day cruiser, but also for long weekends.
