Pardo Yachts reveals a particularly interesting collaboration. On the one hand the Cantiere del Pardo brand and on the other Missoni, together for a boat that is nothing short of unique: the Pardo 50 Missoni, a reinterpretation of the 50-footer entirely customized by the Gallarate-based maison’s fabrics. In short, a bundle of style not only for boating enthusiasts, but also for style lovers. Is it one of the coolest walkarounds on the market? Let’s see what it looks like.

The result is evident in a fascinating synergy between the elegant and clean lines of the hull, broken and embellished by the movements of the iconic and colorful Missoni pattern, for a combination with an effect that is anything but obvious.
Otherwise, it is still the now iconic Pardo 50, a multifunctional walkaround, usable not only as a day-cruiser, but also for short cruising or as a luxury tender. Complete with three cabins, including a sailor’s cabin, the Pardo 50 then has a high-performance and stable hull, powered by two Volvo IPS 600 (optionally 700/800) engines.

Staying on deck, however, we find two large sundecks, forward and aft, while a large 16-square-meter T-top offers eventual shelter from weather and sun. At the far aft end, a wide platform provides a substantial overhang over the sea, while the tender garage is tucked under the large aft sundeck, just forward of which, we find a large convivial area.
Adjustable 360° thanks to the walkaround footprint, the wheelhouse sits amidships, complete with the latest technological solutions and served by two ergonomic seats.

Pardo 50 – Hull
However, the Pardo 50 remains an excellent compromise between performance and comfort. It features a variable geometry deep-V hull, from 16 degrees aft and over 50 degrees toward the bow. In this way it combines excellent seaworthiness with perfect maneuverability to glide safely and quickly.
In terms of construction, a historical workhorse of the Cantiere del Pardo, the technique of vacuum infusion lamination with vinylester resin is adopted, with a monolithic bottom and keel, while the sides and stern are made of high-density PVC sandwich. The deck is laminated in infusion with high-density PVC sandwich so as to have maximum thermal and acoustic insulation.
