Boating with the family is never a simple matter, also because there are so many variables to be taken into account. After Best of Boats Award 2018 we present the Parker Monaco 110, the best family boat of the year.
The best motor boat for families
Following what is now a widespread trend, the Parker Monaco 110, 11.20 meters long, is equipped with a double and powerful outboard motor up to 800 total horsepower. The exterior design is gritty, also thanks to the attitude of sportsman who does not forget the wide interior spaces (also thanks to the fact that the engines are precisely outside). Always with a view to “space”, not even the space above the engines is sacrificed, where a sunbathing area has been designed to cover them from above, attenuating also the noise.
Lower deck there are two cabins and a bathroom with separate full-size shower. On the main deck the living area is large and the kitchen has a fridge and freezer accessible from the cockpit. As a cruiser for the family, the quality of life on board also plays an important role: lighting is therefore a key element and the windows are designed to create the right environment.
This motor cruiser, born from the collaboration with Tony Castro Design, has both a sliding glass roof and a canvas sliding over the cockpit area.
Motorisation of the Parker Monaco 110
A wide range of outboard engines is available for Parker’s flagship yard, typically a torque of 150 hp or 300 hp for those who want more adrenaline in the water, as well as a complete list of additional equipment. The maximum that can equip is a pair of outboard 400 hp. The outboard motorization increases the interior space (no need for engine room like the inboard) with very interesting performance.
