The Parker Monaco 110 was named the best family motorboat in 2018. Today we’ll take a look at its evolution: the Parker Monaco Flybridge. This is an 11-meter boat with two outboard motors—an all-season cruiser.
The first feature is that the outboard motors, located at the stern of the boat, are covered by a sun deck. This design makes them easily accessible while significantly dampening the noise. Why install outboard motors on a boat of this type? Reasons include ease of maintenance, the space saved by not having an engine room inside, the fact that more and more boat owners are requesting them, and the growing range of these marine engines, including in terms of power.
The fact is that this 11-meter flybridge motorboat is also equipped with outboard motors. It’s a model we could compare to the Merry Fisher 1095 Flybridge or the Beneteau Antares 11 Flybridge.
The exterior design is very bold, despite the flybridge. The space in the aft cockpit area is particularly impressive; it also features a cover for the outboard motors, which can be used as a sun deck when the boat is at anchor. The large interior salon features a fully equipped kitchen behind the helm station and is quite bright. Above the helm station, there’s a skylight that allows even more light to enter the interior. On the right, the sofa with a table seats up to 5 or 6 people for dinner. By lowering the table, this area converts into an additional bed.
Below deck, there are two cabins: one in the bow, with portholes along the side, and another amidships on the right, with another double bed. There is also a bathroom on board with a separate shower stall. As the evolution of a family cruiser, the Parker Monaco Flybridge also places great emphasis on quality of life on board: even below deck, natural light and interior space have been optimized to the fullest.
