One of the long-awaited innovations that will be presented by Pearl Yachts at the Dusseldorf Boat Show, from 18 to 26 January 2020, the first boat show of the new year, is certainly the new model Pearl 62, announced in Cannes last September and now under construction.
The new model of the British shipyard presents the external design of the famous designer Bill Dixon and the interior design of the award-winning designer Kelly Hoppen MBE.
The new Pearl 62 boasts 4 double guest cabins, including a full-beam master suite with dedicated entrance. Strengths on board include a large flybridge, complete with a fully equipped bar and barbecue area.
Equipped with twin Volvo IPS engines, the boat offers top speeds of up to 33 knots and a cruising range of 300 miles.
A long-time member of the Pearl Yachts team, Kelly Hoppen has created a new, chic interior design theme. The interiors focus on elegant details, created with contrasting materials, and custom-structured recessed furniture.
Hoppen’s signature details can be found throughout the boat, from the ribbed walls to the suede bands on the cushions. All materials and furniture blend to create a luxurious, modern interior.
Superior Yacht Design
The challenge for designer Bill Dixon was to combine the feeling and volume of a motor yacht with the two engines aft, with the elegant and sporty exterior. The owner’s cabin has access to the bow of the aft deck. Three more guest cabins have separate entrances at the bow, with two double guest cabins occupying the entire width of the boat. The main deck has a galley aft with a sliding window that opens to the aft deck, and large glass side surfaces add to the spaciousness of the large saloon and the internal helm.
