Pirelli 42 outboard: here is the new Pirelli rib. Tecnorib, the licensee of the Pirelli brand, has launched the first two Pirelli 42 outboard engines. After these, two more ribs will arrive, for the Australian market.

Pirelli 42 in outboard version

Since its debut in Düsseldorf in January 2020, the Pirelli P42 has been a truly remarkable success. To date, we have seen it in the inboard version. But how is it with outboards?

If the boat will be a happy oasis in this summer of “social distancing”, the Pirelli 42 is certainly an excellent solution. This rib can be powered both with triple Mercury propulsion of 300 hp each and with two Mercury Racing engines of 450 hp, but not only. In the coming weeks will also be delivered two more units of this 13-meter rib. The first will have a pair of 400 hp engines, the second will have a triple 300 hp engine.

What does this Pirelli rib look like

If the elegance of the exterior lines, the work of the Mannerfelt Design Team, can fascinate, getting on board the feeling is to be on a really well thought out rib. The deck is comfortable, elegant, and spacious and a living area with a sofa has been created in the bow.

All the models of the series are characterized by great attention to the relaxation areas, the simplicity of driving and high performance (over 45 knots), ideal features for organizing holidays in safety, between quiet coves and beaches difficult to reach, where you can arrive in a short time, full of relaxation and serenity.

Going below deck, however, we have another pleasant surprise. Despite the 13 meters of this rib and a tapered profile, the inner cabin is high and voluminous. The portholes provide plenty of light inside on board.
