The new Pirelli 42 inflatable boat made by TecnoRib, will make its debut at the next Düsseldorf show, which will be held from 18 to 26 January 2020. T
he latest model from the shipyard operating in Rescaldina, in the Milanese hinterland region known for its rib tradition, completes the range of boats offered, which now ranges from the 2.90 metres of the small J line tender to the 19 metres of the Pirelli 1900.
This is a 12.50 metre walk-around, which has all the elements that have decreed the success of this type of boat in recent seasons. So central console and plenty of space for life on deck.
The design of the Pirelli 42 was developed in collaboration with Mannerfelt Design Team. The Swedish design studio, led by Ted Mannerfelt since 2006 and also known for its racing boats and powerboats.
By its very nature TecnoRib’s latest creature can be used as a chase boat, as a megayacht tender, or even as a stand-alone for daily outings or weekends in pairs.
Pirelli 42, the rib walkaround
There are two sunbathing areas on deck. In the bow with a backrest located close to the windscreen. Aft above the engine room of the two inboard engines.
To complete the furnishings intended for en plein air life the convivial area with outdoor table, partially covered by the overhang of the T Top. The latter structure, which continues without any line solution, with the windscreen.
Below deck, a dinette convertible into a double cabin has been created. There is also a bathroom located in a separate room. The Pirelli 42, born with the project name of Pirelli 1250, is the first example of a new product line, as shown by the name change. Its vocation is to satisfy its owners by combining the qualities of sportiness, comfort and design in a versatile and easy to use boat. With all the advantages that the rib type brings with it: lightness, stability and safety.
