The PirelliX350 and Pirelli X400 will be unveiled as world premieres at the Düsseldorf Motor Show. The Boot will therefore be the first opportunity to get a close look at the two models in the new range of jet-powered tenders born out of Pirelli. These are the first two examples of a new range of Jet Tenders, i.e., waterjet-powered tenders, that the Sacs Tecnorib shipyard has decided to launch for the Pirelli brand.
Pirelli X350 and Pirelli X400: what they will look like
In terms of styling, brand recognition remains very strong, thanks in part to some special details such as inserts that recall the profile of tires and tread that are found both laterally on the tubular and, with a non-slip function, lining the aft platform. These new dinghies were designed by Christian Grande and maintain a sleek yet sporty line, with a large bow area where two seats served by a handrail have been created. Another seat has been carved out of the settee serving the wheelhouse, which, thanks to a separating element, can be used on either side.
The wheelhouse area is designed to occupy the right side of the tender, while on the left side we find a locker that can also be used as a seat. Ample space has been left for people to customize their tender according to their own tastes and habits. For example, you can add bags designed specifically to be mounted on the side of the tubular (somewhat like motorcycle bags) and a document or personal effects holder that can be installed in the console. Sports enthusiasts will also appreciate the accessories, which include among others the possibility of having a board holder (from SUP, wakeboard, surf..) secured to the tender’s bollards with a buckle system.
As we said, the propulsion of these tenders will be delegated to a hydrojet engine , a 90-horsepower Rotax ACE 903 gasoline.
