The latest addition to the shipyard’s S-segment, the Princess S72 will receive its official reveal at Boot Düsseldorf 2023, but we already know it is a remarkable yacht, second in size only to the flagship of the line, the Princess S78. A full 23.09 meters long, the debutante announces promising numbers just by looking at the interior compartmentalization or engine room, respectively equipped with 8 beds and a dual 1800-horsepower engine propulsion.

Princess S72
Overall, interesting numbers and a lot of promise for Princess’ new sport cruising yacht, a project aimed at meeting every need for comfort and enjoyment with ease, combining quality and technology in a boat capable of over 35 knots.
Princess S72 – Exterior
Looking at its lines, which are particularly sleek, one immediately notices the work done by the design team. In fact, the fly, pleasantly elongated toward the stern, goes well with the windows on the broadside, working together to give the hull momentum, highlighting a sleek, contemporary design that not only keeps the freeboard and elevations light, but also provides ample light to the interior. Shifting our attention to the open spaces, first and foremost the forward lounge stands out, consisting of a C-shaped sofa recessed into the deckhouse and double sundecks, ideal locations both in roadstead and at cruising speed.
Moving aft, an equipped cockpit accommodates a second C-shaped sofa while, projecting toward the swim platform, a second large sundeck provides additional space for relaxation. Also from the cockpit, to starboard from the salon access, is the direct staircase to the sportbridge, a terrace ideal for enjoying cruising to the fullest, or for relaxing in the sun. Here you are greeted, in addition to a secondary wheelhouse, by an additional convivial area, complete with a table and double sofa.
Princess S72 – Interior
As for the interior, the living and sleeping areas first appear to be divided on two levels. Indeed, on the main deck we find the living area, with access from the cockpit and complete with the necessities to be comfortable even in the enclosed areas.

Bathed in light, guaranteed by the large windows, the living room welcomes with a first area equipped with seating, table and full kitchen. Just beyond, a lounge houses a curated lounge, complete with furniture and sofas to accommodate all passengers.
Finally, we find forward facing double seats in the direction of travel and the dashboard. Between the two, a staircase leads to the lower deck, the hub of the sleeping area.
In terms of lower compartmentation, the Princess S72 accommodates up to 8 people in 4 different cabins. First, amidships and in the bow, we find the two double cabins, both full-beam, well furnished and equipped with private bathrooms. In the space between these, one per broadside, are the guest cabins, both double and with shared access to a common bathroom. In contrast, the crew cabin lies aft of the engine room, accommodates two people and is independently accessible.
Propulsion and Performance
Equipped with two V12 engines of either 1,650 or 1,800 horsepower, the Princess S72 also presents enviable numbers in terms of propulsion, especially thanks in part to its hull design, a resin-reinforced V-shaped hull that offers positive performance up to speeds of 36 knots. In contrast, the fuel tank provides a range of 4500 liters.
