Princess Yachts, the British luxury yacht brand, is off to a flying start, announcing the sale of a total of 21 yachts worth more than £38 million at the Düsseldorf Boat Show with other negotiations underway. At the German boat show Princess fielded 11 models including among world premieres Y85, V78 and F45.
The reasons for the success of Princess Yachts
Evolving, being modern and up-to-date without betraying its origins-this is the secret of Princess, which is investing heavily in design and technology.
Antony Sheriff, Executive Chairman of Princess Yachts commented: “Princess Yachts is delighted to celebrate 50 years at Düsseldorf with such encouraging sales figures. Our market has accelerated in recent years, and we have decided to partner with leaders in design and technology, so it was natural to bring these partnerships to the show. I think many of our visitors, customers and guests appreciated the technology and design philosophy we share with partners.”
Demonstrating this, the shipyard showed up in Dusseldorf with two of its main partners: Bar Technologies, Pininfarna. The world of supercars and Formula 1 has influenced Princess’ latest creations as evidenced by one of the “coolest” models of 2018, the R35, Princess’ high-performance yacht with Active Foiling System and carbon fiber hull.
