E4 Pegasus from EWOL is a flag propeller designed for large and luxurious sailing yachts, Maxi and miniMaxi, typically between 60 and 100 feet in length and up to about 500 hp engine power
With its large surface area developed over 4 blades, E4 Pegasus provides important and efficient thrust in both forward and reverse, imparting high cruising speeds, great boat maneuverability, but at the same time gentle and safe reversals for the reverser.
Like all EWOL propellers, E4 Pegasus maintains outstanding characteristics due to the quality of materials used.
Blade orientation is fully automatic, and micrometric pitch adjustment is made from the outside by means of the adjustment ring nut. This allows optimization of thrust during motoring, thus enabling high cruising speeds at low rpm and reductions in fuel consumption. Flag positioning also allows for reduced drag resulting in increased sailing speed.
